This course was response to litigation and the jury's belief that training also needs to be provided to students for sexual misconduct prevention. It is designed to be accepted by parents because it describes healthy relationships. To assist students identify grooming, it introduces the concept of "tricksters" instead of emphasizing sexual predators. It addresses such issues as hazing, peer pressure, substance abuse, and other forms of misconduct.
